Its dual-protocol design supports both M.2 NVMe and M.2 SATA drives, making it suitable for reusing spare SSDs, transferring files, creating backups and recovering data from compatible drives.

The USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-C interface supports theoretical transfer rates of up to 10Gbps when used with an NVMe SSD and a compatible USB port. M.2 SATA drives operate at speeds supported by the SATA interface, up to a theoretical 6Gbps.

Its durable aluminium housing and included heat-dissipation pad help transfer heat away from the installed SSD. The tool-free sliding design enables quick installation without requiring a screwdriver, while the protective bumper helps guard the enclosure against everyday bumps and impacts.
